For over a year, our new cold water installation in Veghel has been operating efficiently, ensuring a reliable supply of chilled water. Previously, we frequently had to activate sprinklers during warm weather and increase the final air temperature to prevent system malfunctions. This is now a thing of the past, thanks to our carefully chosen solution.
We have installed an adiabatic dry cooler (moisture evaporation), which fully automates all control processes, including the precise regulation of the cooler’s water misting system. This system now activates only when absolutely necessary and in a highly efficient manner by moistening cardboard lamellas.
Previously, sprinklers would run continuously from morning to evening on hot days to prevent overheating. Now, we have observed a significant reduction in tap water consumption—by as much as 50%.
